Tech Tip: Get the Hook!

When working with Hybrid vehicles a good thing to have in the shop is the electrician’s hook or a technician release tool, as Ford calls it. This hook is the safest way to stop a person from being electrocuted by the high voltage in a Hybrid or Electric Vehicle. Since someone else will have to pull the victim from the source, a none conductive hook will not only release the victim but prevent the helper from getting electrocuted as well.
