In this tip clip, Ron examines the constant idle control parameters. If you put a larger throttle body on a vehicle the computer needs to be made aware – this is called idle throttle area scalar. Learn the relationship between the scalar and throttle body numbers and how to properly change what the PROM is reading for throttle plate size.
