Fort Myers Florida — May 20, 2010 – Mobile A/C training to fit your schedule, that’s what webinar presentations are all about. The Mobile Air Conditioning Society (MACS) Worldwide has scheduled two webinars for June to deliver training for busy technicians and other interested participants.
On Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at 6:30pm EDT, join Paul DeGuiseppi, MACS manager of service training, for the Best of MACS 2010 Mobile A/C Update class. Paul will discuss what working technicians need to know about:
Not Much Doubt Now: HFO-1234yf Is On The Way;
Changes Coming In Evaporators And Evaporator Service;
The Ejector Cycle Evaporator;
New GM In-line Filters Inside The Lines;
Ford Escape Hybrid A/C And Engine Cooling Systems; and
New Helpmate For Electrical Diagnosis.
The cost for MACS members is $25 and non-members pay $45. The class fee includes MACS 2010 Mobile A/C Update Clinic manual.
Technicians who still need to comply with section 609 of the United States Clean Air Act can participate in MACS section 609 certification test prep webinar on Thursday, June 22, 2010 at 1:30pm. Due to the need to mail a test to participants, registration must be completed for this webinar by June 17, 2010. The cost is $40 and includes a section 609 test, study guide and the cost of credentials. Those wishing to audit the webinar without the purchase of a test may register for $25. Special rates for are available for participants viewing this webinar as a group.
