Tech Tip: Quirks And Issues With J2534 Reprograming

Delphi instructor Dave Hobbs guides you thru some of the pitfalls with J2534 reprograming. Some J2534 deliver the data so quickly certain older vehicles cannot take it and may lock up at four %. If that happens you would need a Tech 2 to recover. Here is a quirk a 2002 Saturn L200 having a new BCM installed after a battery reset, while flashing the odometer goes to 697000. Dave will show you how to deal  with these silver bullets.
