Tech Tip: Jumper Post Diagnostics

When it comes to battery maintenance and diagnosis, manufacturers introduce new methods and procedures that can sometimes throw us off. The jumper post is one that can sometimes have technicians scratching their heads when testing the integrity of a battery. The distance from the post to the battery itself acts as a resistor that can throw testing off. Dan explains the importance of testing a battery directly from the battery post with this hands-on demonstration.
