Classroom Training

AVI classroom training rises above the typical PowerPoint presentation. Each AVI training program imparts essential knowledge through real-world case studies that reinforce core concepts and techniques, supported by additional materials to ensure a thorough and well-rounded learning experience.

Cooling Systems and Coolants - 4hrs

Vehicle functional requirements, emission regulations, and performance all impact on the cooling systems. Severe climates, disrupted air or water flow, and coolant routing present unique challenges to technicians servicing vehicle cooling systems. This course introduces the components, diagnostics and service that affect cooling system operation and performance.

The goal of this course is to introduce technicians and service personnel to the basic principles of cooling systems for light and medium duty vehicles. Participants will learn about components that are directly and indirectly related to coolant flow, system pressure, fans, radiators, heater cores, closed loop thermal re-circulation, and overall system performance. Basic concepts will be reinforced with examples and a cooling performance calculation of a typical automotive cooling system.

Hands On Workshops

The ability to perform hands-on activities is the best way to learn. AVI is proud to offer technical training in a hands-on workshop environment using our award-winning training aids and system mock-ups. Our flexible offerings can be customized to meet your needs. Our Hands-On training can be delivered in a 1 to 5-day format. With multiple-day workshops, technicians have the opportunity to reinforce their training with additional tasks, increasing their efficiency and proficiency.
