Course Description:

This course will cover anti-lock braking, traction control and stability systems which on modern cars work together to give advanced driver assist systems (ADAS). Component level identification and testing will be covered including operational characteristics of individual ABS and ADAS designs.

Course Objectives: 

  • Learn how the ABS and traction control systems gather information from different sensors throughout the car and process all of that data.
  • Understand how ABS and traction control systems are integrated into stability control systems and ADAS features.
  • Learn to effectively and efficiently diagnose symptoms of faulty sensors within these systems.
