You might not have to replace a hybrid motor generator but you need to know….

How it works.  Hybrid and Battery Electric Vehicles (HEV) all use at least one motor generator.  Considering the hundreds of thousands of HEVs currently on the road, the maintenance opportunities now and moving forward are significant.  Are you exposing your students to these systems?  While it is not likely a technician will need to completely break down and perform component level repair on a motor gen, they will definitely need an understanding of how one operates.  Learn about HEV instructional resources for your program here.
