Vehicle type identification leading into covering the basics of hybrid and EV operation such as how to: Enter, Start and Drive a Tesla and other out of the normal style vehicle types. Engaging the learner with a mix of in‐shop hands on activities will define maintenance opportunities and create a culture that motivates customers to have their Hybrid or EV serviced at your location. We will explain the wide variety of low voltage system services you should offer as well as provide information on the various high voltage system services to offer. Tools, tips and tricks will be discussed along with many step‐by‐step processes and critical services which can currently be performed. Highlighted too, will be a variety of hybrid/EV specific procedures for systems such as cooling and fuel services.

Course Description:
This session will provide knowledge and comprehensive testing of Battery,starting, charging and complete vehicle electrical systems. All needed electrical skills will be combined and practiced on training boards that simulate practical testing of all electrical systems under the hood. Custom hands‐on training aids will be used to perform practical electric testing with diagnostic outcomes in mind by building and diagnosing electrical circuits.

Course Description:
Includes sections on visual inspection; complete hydraulic system theory and operation; disc and drum brake system service and repair, resurfacing of rotors and drums using bench and on‐car lathes; friction material purpose, functionality, measurement, and replacement; service and parking brake system adjustment and diagnostics; brake line repair and flaring of brake lines. We will provide the Cube brake training system mockups for use in the classroom where student can perform service on disc and drum sets as well as hydraulic systems. The learner will learn to properly measure and flare brake lines, then install them on the mockups to make a fully functioning brake system which will provide the learner the opportunity to also learn how to properly bleed air from a hydraulic system.

Using our custom mockups, the technicians will be able to perform most typical suspension system repairs and adjustments in a classroom environment. This course is intended for techs who have some knowledge of suspension systems but have limited experience. We will show how to properly rebuild strut assemblies and control arms. Techs will also be able to practice with tie rod and power steering pulley R & R. This is a comprehensive hands‐on class, come ready to get dirty!
