Fort Myers, FL – March 24, 2009 – Automotive Video (Team AVI) released a long awaited Volkswagen and Audi Diagnostic training program this week featuring Automotive Training Group (ATG) instructor Ross Wellwood. Volkswagen and Audi Diagnostics contains information and tips to help techs who are considering service of these vehicles as well as experienced European technicians.

The terminology, wiring diagrams and scan tool procedures used in these vehicles are very different from domestics and many other imports on the market. This class provides an in-depth overview of the systems, how they are different from other vehicles and how to diagnose them. The program includes a detailed 280-page ATG manual with CAN bus information, wiring examples, scanner code charts, misfire monitors and EVAP information.

This course explains the VW/Audi Current Track wiring diagrams and how to interpret and make sense of the data. It covers the Motronic engine systems and common problems. Important scan tool information is presented explaining the measuring block format that is used on these vehicles. The program also covers ignition/misfire issues and sensor testing, fuel system components and issues, the intake system and much more.
