To enter service mode:

1. Touch the car icon on the screen.
2. Select “Software.”
3. Touch and hold your vehicle model (e.g., Model 3) for five seconds.
4. Enter “service” as the access code (this is software-based and may change).
5. Accept the disclaimer.

You’ll know you’re in service mode by the red band around the LCD screen.

To exit:

1. Look for “exit service mode.”
2. If not visible, touch the red wrench.
3. Hold to exit.
