Launch Training – Using Demo Mode X-431 Throttle III

To train new employees on a high-end scan tool, use “demo mode.” This allows users to practice with the tool at their leisure, without needing to connect to a vehicle.

To access demo mode, navigate to the main menu, select “diagnose,” and then choose “demo mode.” This mode is regularly updated to include new vehicle types. Once in demo mode, you can select a vehicle (e.g., a 2012 Ford F-350) and practice various functions, including health reports, reading DTCs, viewing module information, and accessing online repair information (x431 fix).

Demo mode offers full functionality, allowing you to perform actuation tests, view data streams, and graph live data. This includes the unique ability to combine graphs, providing a more comprehensive view of sensor signals. Spending time practicing with demo mode on various vehicle types (Honda, Nissan, Ford, Chevrolet) will make technicians proficient, leading to quicker and more efficient vehicle repairs.
