The Group Training Academy powered by AVI is hosting our annual training event and we’re inviting future technicians to attend for free and have an opportunity to get a $1000 scholarship! Make plans to attend on Friday, January 17th from 8am to 5pm at Dave and Busters, located at 13499 South Cleveland Ave in Fort Myers. All future technicians will receive:

PLUS, one student will be selected to receive a $1,000 Scholarship for purchasing tools or paying for continuing education. To be eligible for the scholarship, students must be enrolled in an accredited automotive training program or technical school. Students will create a short video, TikTok, or social media feed, write a short essay or a bullet point document telling their story. This may include why they decided to enter the automotive repair industry, share a family story, explain how they will benefit from the scholarship, explain how to make a repair, or state why they should be awarded the $1000. This can be fun, creative, or serious. The deadline for entries is 4 PM December 20th, 2024. All approved submissions will be entered into a random drawing for the $1000 scholarship which will take place at approximately 4:15 PM after the Future Tech Training Event at the AVI 2025 Conference Trade Show located at the DoubleTree Bell Tower in Fort Myers. Students must be present to win.
