Paul Lowers, CEO of AVI, “We have been tracking the needs of the firefighter, law enforcement, EMS, tow truck driver and automotive salvage industries and their desire for safety training on both conventional and alternative fuel vehicles and we are excited to bring Chris into the AVI family, as he is known as an outstanding instructor and subject matter expert in these areas. Using his expertise, AVI will be offering not only instructor-led live classes but also be developing online coursework for these groups.”
In addition to Chris’ extensive experience in the fire service, he also has spent the last five years teaching alternative fuel vehicle safety training classes for the National Alternative Fuels Training Consortium, a program of West Virginia University, where he worked closely with many industry groups, including US Department of Energy Clean Cities Program.
“Working with AVI on their firefighter and other first and second responder training classes excites me, as their organization has a far-reaching footprint in the training industry which will allow me to educate even more responders on important and often lifesaving techniques, so everyone comes home safely from a traffic incident.”
