ATMC Recap

May 17, 2012

The Automotive Training Managers Council, a member of the ASE family of organizations, was formed in 1984 by original equipment and aftermarket automotive training professionals. Recently, ATMC members gathered together for their annual conference and exchanged training ideas and strategies helpful to both technical and sales/marketing training professionals.

ATMC also took time to plan and conduct several industry outreach initiatives in order to give back to the industry. One of those is the National ATMC Excellence in Training Awards, designed to highlight innovative or exceptionally effective training. ATMC also provides a service to the industry through research and publications related to training and human performance technology issues in the automotive arena.

ATMC members are concerned with improving training through networking, learning and applying state-of-the-art training methodology by being visible among their peers as proactive training organizations in the automotive and related industries. If you’re looking to become a member, you should start by visiting www.atmc.org.
