But analyzing the Ignition pattern waveform can give you the clues to the reason for the misfire. \n The Primary and Secondary patterns show the reasons and give hints for the fix. \n There are three problems Fuel\, Compression\, or Ignition that cause misfires. \nThe testing of ignition waveforms has changed as we have progressed for Distributor\, Distributor less waste spark\, and now Coil on Plug or Coil near plug systems. We can’t test the ignition systems as we did in the big-Box Engine analyzer days.
