DESCRIPTION:The basic braking foundation will be presented. The concepts of brake boosters\, master brake cylinders\, brake pads\, calipers\, rotors\, and drums are introduced alongside common diagnostic methods. Essential understanding of brake noise starts with identification. The ability to classify the source will allow for determination of the appropriate solution. \nThe basic operation of electrical park brake systems is introduced. Different versions of these systems are explained. Training is focused on how to electrically release the park brake sys¬tem\, and the steps to take if mechanical release is needed. \nAfter completing this training\, the participant will be able to: \n\nList braking components and their functions\nDescribe common brake pads installation errors\nExplain electrical park brake systems\nDescribe proper mechanical release of electrical brake system\nList braking components and their functions\nExplain assistance based emergency braking\nIdentify noise issues\nDiagnose brake systems and errors
