The instructor will present information on high voltage switching and relays, HV boost, and 3-phase testing and delve into unique EV systems like the cooling, electric water pump, electric AC, and HV battery cooling. Domestic Anti-Theft Systems

Anti-Theft systems have become more complex in recent years. These systems are now being integrated into other systems such as TPMS and Remote Keyless Entry. While the operating methods haven't changed much, many unique service procedures have been introduced due to the increased security. This class will further increase the technician's understanding of modern Anti-Theft systems and introduce methods to simplify diagnostics. Case studies will be presented showing real-world failures, programming procedures, and resolutions when a programming procedure fails. After completing this class, a technician will be able to:

Chrysler has added some technology to their newer vehicles. This course will cover the changes that will impact the way you service this family of vehicles.

Topics Covered:

EGR System operations will be discussed in detail. These systems are very misunderstood some improper repairs can cause damage to systems or engines. Component identification and operation will be discussed on current systems. Cummins, International and other systems will be featured. Sensors, coolers, actuators and valves will be covered. Electronic diagnostics will be covered on EGR SYSTEMS along with mechanical failure. Every truck technician will benefit from this program. Ancillary items like properly servicing the coolant systems will be covered along with technical tips to prevent EGR system failures. The following components and issues will be covered.

HD SCR Systems

SCR System operations will be discussed in detail. These systems can be hard to diagnose and repair. Electronic diagnostics will be covered on SCR Systems along with mechanical failure. Every truck technician will benefit from this program. Is the DEF fluid good? Advanced Testing Strategies
